The Center for the Study of Jobs and Education in Wisconsin and the United
States is an independent and non-profit research center. Founded in July 1995
under the leadership of the late John Shaffer a community activist who died at
the age of 93 in February 1996 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The priority of the
Center is to provide the political and educational leaders of the State of
Wisconsin and the U.S. credible statistical evidence and knowledgeable
information so that they can make policy decisions for the benefit of all the
citizens of the state and the nation. Public Policy should reflect the needs
and concerns of all and not just specific special interest groups.
